Olivia Hotshot: Hi everyone, and welcome to our weekly Virtual Worlds Education Roundtable meeting. We meet here each week at 2:30 pm SLT for an hour.

Grizzla wishes she had a cool hat

Olivia Hotshot: The Virtual Worlds Education Roundtable is a forum to educate and inform the community about issues that are important and relevant to education.

Olivia Hotshot: Today's meeting, "VWER Open Forum" will be in TEXT CHAT only.

Olivia Hotshot: The views and opinions of any of our special guests or visitors do not necessarily represent those who volunteer or organize these meetings.

Olivia Hotshot: This is a public meeting, so we do keep a transcript of what is said in local chat. For a copy of transcripts, please visit http//www.vwer.org

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: hold on Grizzla :)

[Iggy and ? someone else ? each give hats to Grizzla; she puts on both]

VWER 0602_020_w535

Olivia Hotshot: The Virtual Worlds Education Roundtable meeting happens each week and we are looking to develop a community of educators from around the world with a variety of thoughts, needs, and ideas.

Olivia Hotshot: Please join the Virtual Worlds Education Roundtable group here in SL. You can also find us on Facebook, LinkedIn, Flicker, and KoinUp, as well as on Twitter as VWER.

Olivia Hotshot: I'm Olivia, today's moderator for this group. If you've not seen Iggy's transcripts, you should check them out - they are a great information asset.

Olivia Hotshot: Now then, it's time to get started. please introduce yourself to the group. I am Ann Steckel, a techie and math educator from Cal State University, Chico.

Olivia Hotshot: I manage campuses for the university, as well as work on many components of the CLIVE sim and others.

Prof. Dan: Dan Holt, Lansing Community College, Lansing, MI. I teach writing, both first year composition and creative writing online and in SL.

Wrenaria Antiesse: Kimmy Hescock, Oregon State University, visual info designer, create/manage our virtual presence

Claudia13 Rossini: I'm Claudia. RL & SL. I’m a builder.

Samantha Chester: I am Ashlyn Dugan a writing and composition teacher at NPCC in Arkansas.

JeanClaude Vollmar: Hi! I'm Jeff Le Blanc and am from the University of Northwestern Ohio. I'm the VP for IT there and help to support the faculty and students that use SL in their classes.

Ignatius Onomatopoeia is Joe Essid, University of Richmond Writing Center & proprietor of Nevermore Sim in Jokaydia Grid

Grizzla: Chris Robinson, Virtual Assistant, Office of EdTech, Georgia Gwinnett College

Zotarah Shepherd: I am working on an MA in Education Technology at Sonoma State University in northern California. My Thesis project: Teaching and Learning Life Awareness & Success Skills in Second Life.

Ignatius Onomatopoeia sees that Grizzla wears more than one hat in her line of work :)

Claudia13 Rossini: lol

Silhshoot Seelowe: David Joyner, Marysville High School Librarian

aybukegl: i am from Turkey. I am a student at middle east technical university. I have course that name is virtual world. We design area that can be useful for students

Olivia Hotshot: last call for introductions...

Olivia Hotshot scans the massive crowd.... pauses.... arches her brow...

Olivia Hotshot: ok, guess we're done with that part...

Olivia Hotshot: so, here is how i'd like to start the convo today....

Olivia Hotshot: the other day i was reading the infamous SLED list and....

Olivia Hotshot: saw a person's list of requirements for Open Sim installations... one of the "requirements" was a currency... so my question to break it open would be to ask... Is the presence of a currency in a VW an imperative? Can we deal without them? What will we lose or gain if we do?

Claudia13 Rossini: I think an economy is very important. Finding good products for build

Olivia Hotshot: so what do you think? Can we live without Lindens? (the currency not the staff)

JeanClaude Vollmar: Hmm, an economy to help teach an economy? But maybe not tied to $ like L$ are.

Zotarah Shepherd: I like to shop for the things I do not have time to make myself.

Grizzla: Personally I'm not against currencies. Not everyone can afford to give away their creations, and not everyone can build well.

Wrenaria Antiesse: important to content creators for sure

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: Olivia, it seems essential for a social grid like InWorldz or Avination to have a currency. We don't need so stinkin' spacebux on Jokaydia Grid...we give our stuff away.

Samantha Chester agrees with Grizzla

Olivia Hotshot: does Third Rock still have their currency going?

Claudia13 Rossini: and av creations. You want good skin, hair, eyes, clothes so you represent yourself (in what ever form that may take) well

D'lightful: It is better to have and not need than need and not have (currency)

Prof. Dan: I use Linden $ with students during their orientation/scavenger hunt, offering L$ for those who do all of tasks.

Grizzla: Altho... if real $ changes hands for the currency, doesn't it have to be registered with SEC or something? I've heard that’s why WoW doesn't have currency.

Olivia Hotshot: ooooh interesting Dan.... using Lindens as a reward

VWER 0602_001_w285

Grizzla admires Cybere's hat

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: @Olivia, I believe they do. Note too that Third Rock just launched an educators' grid, too

Zotarah Shepherd: Inworldz looks promising with lots of SL creators and a currency that works well

Cybere: nodding at Grizzla, cool, it apparently sucks your brain to help you make decisions!

Olivia Hotshot: whispers: sorry cannot stop looking at Cybere’s hat

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: Zo, it's a nice place. It's a closed grid, but so is SL (no hypergrid). Avination is, however, not a good place for educators--too much gambling and no filter for adult content.

Claudia13 Rossini: Inworldz just updated there script stuff, so SL scripts work there

Frankie Antonelli: @Grizzla, @Olivia Yes, pretty cool hat

Zotarah Shepherd: Oh thanks Claudia - good to know

Olivia Hotshot: Have not heard of that one, Iggy.

Cybere: Arf well that was worth a find.. and free!!!

Olivia Hotshot: currency does seem to add another layer though, doesn't it?

Claudia13 Rossini: i just tested a few scripts there. And a physics engine (?) is coming soon

Prof. Dan: at Inworldz, Claudia?

Claudia13 Rossini: yes

VWER 0602_003_w535

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: Phlox is the new physics engine at Inworldz--no lag reported for groups of 30 or more and no textures grayed out

Olivia Hotshot: awesome news Iggy!

Claudia13 Rossini: and imports work very smoothly. I imported a 800+ prim build smooth as silk

JeanClaude Vollmar: Currency that really bought you the rights to creations as if they were now yours would be cool. So you can freely export/import when moving about.

Prof. Dan: The rights have little to do with the currency, though?

Zotarah Shepherd: With the restrictions on permissions I am making my own textures, but I still need scripts and scripted objects on other grids.

JeanClaude Vollmar: That's true.

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: that is Ina Centaur's problem, Dan....she made all this stuff and cannot keep it locally. Now her 100,000 item inventory is going to be nuked along with the Virtual Globe Theatre

Claudia13 Rossini: I understand Dan, you mean wanting the rights to move something you buy here to another grid, instead of say paying for it twice

Zotarah Shepherd: I was looking at the TRU textures site and am glad that those have different perms for use on other grids.

Olivia Hotshot: which was one of the very first sims I visited when I got inworld years ago..... I am ready to cry over that.... Ina is such a talent

Claudia13 Rossini: can't she export?

Prof. Dan: A real shame.

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: TRU's content is expensive. I think I'll splurge on one or two packs, however, for Nevermore.

Olivia Hotshot: her account is locked

Claudia13 Rossini: ouch

Samantha Chester: you can export items from SL to Inworldz?

Claudia13 Rossini: yes Sam

Samantha Chester: needs to learn how

Prof. Dan: If you are the creator.

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: BTW, URL for Textures R Us: http://www.texturesrus.net/front_content.php

Zotarah Shepherd: I collected all my prims before I let my sim go so I would have the entire inventory intact

Claudia13 Rossini: as long as they are your prims, textures, etc.

Prof. Dan: Ahhh, keyboard is laggy today!

Claudia13 Rossini: Sam, I can help with exports if you need it

AmyBeth Seerose: I would like to learn too

Samantha Chester: thanks Claudia

Olivia Hotshot: for anyone interested in the plight of the SL Globe etc.: http://blog.inacentaur.com/

AmyBeth Seerose: if you don't mind

Olivia Hotshot: Has anyone tried bartering for goods or services on grids with no currency? Is that even an option do you think?

Claudia13 Rossini: not at all. It’s fairly easy actually. And i'm in the middle of exporting 2 sims’ worth

Zotarah Shepherd: I have a lot of builds but almost all have bought textures. But I can rez each build and retexture it with my own textures and save them in Second Inventory eventually then take to other grids.

Grizzla: Olivia, I'm sure it happens, but that's no help to those just starting, I don't think.

Claudia13 Rossini: actually, your exports save to your HD....

Prof. Dan: Zo, are you also working on another grid?

Olivia Hotshot: Second Inventory link: http://www.secondinventory.com/

Zotarah Shepherd: That is a good idea Olivia that I will try someday when I get another sim in another grid if it does not have a currency system

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: Isn't Second Inventory for Windows only?

Cybere: Bonjour , je suis noob.

Cybere: Just a little quick question: How do you export items into another grid?

Cybere: Je ne comprends rien a ce jeu...

Olivia Hotshot nods... Bartering is always a win-win if you ask me, provided the 2 parties know each other's capabilities

VWER 0602_002_w535

Zotarah Shepherd: I am not working on another grid yet, but I will. I want to get my thesis written first. Building is so distracting. guilty grin

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: @Cyber, I export with Imprudence viewer...items I made that is, then upload the textures after importing them

Claudia13 Rossini: anyone wanting help exporting/importing feel free to friend me and I’ll help you out

D'lightful: Is there any open educational resources (OER) initiatives for educational virtual worlds?

Zotarah Shepherd: I would like to know how to do that with Imprudence Iggy

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: Thanks Claudia...folks, she is *the* expert on that...I'll just get you a bunch of plywood prims :)

Cybere: @ Iggy, where is the export in the menu on imprudence?

Zotarah Shepherd: Thanks Claudia

Olivia Hotshot: Second Inventory requires Window Xp/Vista with the MS framework .NET 2.0 installed.

Claudia13 Rossini: lol, thanks Iggy

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: under "file" I believe, Cyber

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: I'm fumbling in 2.6 today (and I actually like it)

Claudia13 Rossini: you don't need second inventory to export/import though

Olivia Hotshot: Welcome Lolly

Lolly Dovgal: Hello all.

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: Hi Lolly! Welcome back

VWER 0602_007_w285

Lolly Dovgal: Thanks; it's been too long!

Olivia Hotshot: whispers: has 5 hats for anyone who wants a hat - just IM me.

Olivia Hotshot: whispers: and has found more hats...

[Grizzla’s note: Olivia refused to give Grizzla any of her hats, probably because the latter was already wearing two hats]

AmyBeth Seerose: ill be back in a minute...have to walk to my boarding gate

Claudia13 Rossini: (wants to know where you got the nice t-shirt you were wearing with jeans last week)

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: All I have are "Pappy Enoch" hats. Worn only about 100 times and run over by a truck about 10.

aybukegl: I have a question too , now i am working on a virtual Facebook project for teaching to elementary students cyber bullying and using Facebook in a good way . Every student will have a house. and they will decide who can look home or who cannot look or enter to home . But I’m not sure how to do it in SL

Claudia13 Rossini: locked doors. It can be done

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: It may be tough in SL, aybukegl, unless you use an island with parcels where students can restrict access

Claudia13 Rossini: though any cam will still cam in

Grizzla: Yeah, I was going to suggest restricted access

Prof. Dan: Though--elementary kids cannot come to SL, only 13 years or older.

Grizzla: True, Claudia, and anyone who can cam in, can click-to-sit and they're inside.

Olivia Hotshot: I believe cams cannot be restricted...

Claudia13 Rossini: exactly

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: Dan's right--one of my wife's colleagues got permission to use SL for 4th grade standard of learning about Egypt, but they "looked over the teacher's shoulder" as her avatar explored.

Claudia13 Rossini: you might consider security orbs. I use them on my sim

Grizzla: Is that a special kind of sensor?

Olivia Hotshot: cams are not restricted by orbs, but avatars are...

aybukegl: yeah I know it is forbidden but I will only try whether it will work or not

Prof. Dan: You could do it, though, with an OpenSim.

Olivia Hotshot: yes Griz... it is a scripted object that alerts the people who should not be there that they are about to be booted

Claudia13 Rossini: sort of. You can establish a distance they can't cross without being tp'd home. Determine who is allowed, who is banned

Ignatius Onomatopoeia promises not to tell Governor Linden. But keep an eye on them at all times.

Olivia Hotshot: it is more of a white list than a black list though

aybukegl: but I will use my university area in second life and we have to use this area

Olivia Hotshot: and they are not illegal by any means

Claudia13 Rossini: I’ve got some nice ones that are fairly easy to use

Cybere: @aybukegl would you want to restrict cam access?

aybukegl: yes it can be but how can I do that

Olivia Hotshot: agree with Claudia.... and they are cheap usually. if you own the parcel, you can also restrict with a white list in the "about land" as well... and save the lindens on the orb

Olivia Hotshot: Welcome Shelia!

Grizzla: Orbs are expensive?

Olivia Hotshot: maybe 350 L? a guess.....

Claudia13 Rossini: not much. Few 100 lindens if i remember

Cybere: I believe having small parcels with restricted/build access the best option

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: white list would be the best option or access by group.

Olivia Hotshot: I agree with you Iggy

Cybere: but it is a lot of management

Olivia Hotshot: the orbs require as much too

VWER 0602_011_w285

aybukegl: ok I will try this thank you very much

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: It's handy to have all the rascals in one group anyway, so that may be easier. No one else could even land on your island.

Cybere: What if one of the rascals breaks in and change object in another rascal's house Iggy

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: my rascals used to crash cars into my office :)

Olivia Hotshot: an example of one: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/LandGuard-Security-System-Home-Security-Orb/1171584

Claudia13 Rossini: they can't, unless they have edit rights

Grizzla: They could only do that if the owner had given them permission

Olivia Hotshot: exactly Claudia

Cybere: that is why small parcels with restricted access to one or two rascals would do the trick

aybukegl: ok thanks all

Cybere: @ Iggy are you continuing the House of Usher in another grid?

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: I am, Cyber. This fall in Jokaydia Grid

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: We are putting in clues and finishing the build now

Olivia Hotshot: Iggy it is wonderful that the content was not lost.

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: a whole island of linked stories with actors too

Cybere: Great, can we get to visit once it is done?

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: I only imported a few items and most of the textures...rebuilding was better b/c of the freedoms in OpenSim

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: You can visit now. Here are the links to know

Cybere: + Animations?

Claudia13 Rossini: you mean prim sizes Iggy?

Olivia Hotshot: megas are not an issue on open Sim installs

Cybere: prim allocations?

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: Prim sizes, linking distances, etc.

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: Wiki: http://sites.google.com/site/virtualpoe/

Grizzla: Will the clues and different things work for us, Iggy?

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: grid info: http://jokaydiagrid.com

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: Grizzla, yes. We are integrating elements of other Poe tales to give the Usher family a disturbing backstory of family madness, coastal "wrecking," and Victorian medical horrors

Claudia13 Rossini: ouch

Cybere: someone gave a link to a market place for open grids but I lost the link, anyone?

Claudia13 Rossini: so a typical American family

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: Poe was a Richmonder of course...he had so much good material just outside his door

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: Google "Trepanation" some time :)

Olivia Hotshot: there you go Cybere

Cybere: @Iggy what is happening with VWER ELI?

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: @Cybere, I'm trying to recall what "ELI" is...brain dead today

VWER 0602_006_w535

D'lightful: Educause Learning Initiative?

Olivia Hotshot: so anyway folks... anyone else have questions about content moving from grid to grid?

Ignatius Onomatopoeia hopes Olivia's brain is working....

aybukegl: thank you for answers , I think it is time to sleep in my country it is about 1.30 . see you

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: oh, AJ's the point person on that, Cyber, but I think he'll continue the meetings at the EDUCAUSE events

Olivia Hotshot: sweet dreams aybukegl

Zotarah Shepherd: Choosing the best grid for a project is challenging.

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: good luck with your project!

aybukegl: thank you

aybukegl: :) and have a good day all bye

Claudia13 Rossini: I think at this point we need to be flexible as VWs develop. And back up stuff on any grids to our HD's

Olivia Hotshot: so a question for the group..... anyone have some summer VW plans that can be shared?

Cybere: how do you back up stuff you have in Sl (provided you have full perm or you are the creator)?

D'lightful: @Claudia sounds like good advice to those of us just getting our campuses engaged

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: yes, OAR files are wonderful. I just hope that the region backups from Jokaydia Grid will import to OpenSim servers running Linux

Zotarah Shepherd: pfft finish my thesis

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: Reaction Grid is a Micro$oft shop

Claudia13 Rossini: lol I’m backing up 2 sims worth of the University of Pennsylvania builds. My summer 'job'

Olivia Hotshot: Good luck, Zo!! Home stretch now is in sight for you.

Zotarah Shepherd: Thanks Olivia

Olivia Hotshot: Claudia, is that a time consuming job?

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: You'll do it, Zo. Keep us posted and we'll raise a glass or two.

Zotarah Shepherd: Thanks Iggy

AmyBeth Seerose: last couple weeks are the hardest :-)

AmyBeth Seerose: but you will get there

Zotarah Shepherd nods

Wrenaria Antiesse: maybe Claudia should consider having a mini workshop since so many people are curious as to how to backup/export SL content :p

Claudia13 Rossini: only that it seems I’ve built a f****** lot of stuff. Testing took time. But export is pretty fast

Olivia Hotshot: Sil, do you want to share your program link with the others?

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: I don't know about your department, Zo, but a practice defense is sometimes a good idea, depending on the committee

Zotarah Shepherd: Good idea Wrenaria

Zotarah Shepherd: Ok Iggy Thanks

Olivia Hotshot: Good idea Wren! Maybe i can get that rolling for us here at VWER.

Cybere: @ Claudia Yes please

Claudia13 Rossini: That's fine with me. A class or individual if you want it. I have most of the problems ironed out

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: I can then test importing those OARs to a Linux based grid and make it all crash :)

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: Has anyone rented space on Kitely (sp?)

Professor Silverweb: I'd be very interested in a class if you offered it.

Olivia Hotshot: geesh Iggy, you’re so cutting edge these days =)

VWER 2 June

Samantha Chester: same here

Zotarah Shepherd: I have not heard about that one Iggy

D'lightful: yes, Claudia, a class would be great

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: naw, I just recall all the buzzwords, Olivia...but, seriously, going to OpenSim pushes your skills to the limit. I had to learn a lot to manage a region and build stuff.

Prof. Dan: Is that the non-persistent VW, Iggy?

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: @Dan, yes, it runs on Amazon's cloud. You pay by avatar and time online...so it's cheap for a few folks for a while. But a meeting like this could get expensive, fast.

Cybere: someone is following New World Notes blog by the letter :)
http://nwn.blogs.com/nwn/2011/03/kitely-easy-cheap-cloud-based-virtual-world-hosting-service-is-the-wordpress-of-opensim.html

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: Yah, Cyber, I love tussling with old Hamlet :) Here's the URL: http://sites.google.com/site/virtualpoe/

Olivia Hotshot: Kitely information: http://www.kitely.com/#!home

Olivia Hotshot: Kitely was being integrated into FB last i heard

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: Maria Korolov can tell us more next week...she's been excited about this technology

Grizzla shudders at the thought of FB & a VW integrating

Cybere: Same here Grizzla

Claudia13 Rossini: nods to Griz, I dislike FB myself

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: One wonders if Hamlet pushes that so hard because LL wants it and pays their buddy well

Olivia Hotshot:
Kitely: Get immediate free access by logging in with Facebook
Create an unlimited number of OpenSim-based virtual worlds
Choose which Facebook users can visit each of your virtual worlds
Log into virtual worlds by just pressing a button on their web page
Visit virtual worlds using any Second Life® compatible viewer
See reports on how your virtual worlds are being used
Save money by paying only for what you actually use

Olivia Hotshot: hate to say it folks, but you better get ready for browser-based VW experiences.... it WILL come to SL is my prediction.

Grizzla: ?? In SL you save money by having a free account

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: it could be useful for someone who had five different "sets" for a simulation and limited usage--education and role-play come to mind.

Cybere: That might be easier to handle for schools and universities Olivia?

Prof. Dan: Just seems oxymoronic to call a non-persistent space a virtual world.

Olivia Hotshot: well, it is virtual world space that is "on-demand"

Claudia13 Rossini: you know what would be nice as we expand to other grids. A list of people who can do scripts, animations, things like that. Things we can't easily buy or get for free

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: Metaplace was semi-persistent, Dan. It would turn off regions when no one was around. You could not walk from one place to another. You had to TP everywhere.

Olivia Hotshot: Claudia.... hence my suggesting that we consider bartering....

Cybere: has anyone tried Simonakey? (or some similar name)

Claudia13 Rossini: <---will sell body for good animations

Olivia Hotshot: what is it Cyber?

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: careful, Claudia - G-rated sim here :D

Karelia Kondor: ?

Zotarah Shepherd: I hear that animations are not that hard to make. I will learn it someday.

Claudia13 Rossini: lol. Dirty mind. My av shape, grins

[Griz' note: For an unknown reason, this guy was dancing at the back of the auditorium until the last few minutes of the meeting, when he approached the group]

Cybere: @ Olivia a sim you run a on USB key

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: do you need Poser or similar to make them? I need to make them for Nevermore

Zotarah Shepherd: I think so

Olivia Hotshot: ahh ok Cyber..... sim on a stick...

Wrenaria Antiesse: you can use qavimator too

Cybere: @ Iggy use Qavimator to create poses and animations?

Cybere: @olivia Yes that is it, anyone used Simonastick?

Wrenaria Antiesse: http://www.qavimator.org/

Olivia Hotshot: Poser info: http://poser.smithmicro.com/

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: I may have to do that...Jokay has a female AO available only....Roderick Usher walks like a duck.

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: thanks for the links!

Cybere: http://simonastick.com/

Olivia Hotshot: Poser is what our tech use here

Claudia13 Rossini: FYI. Olivia and I are working on setting up a class for imports/exports. Anyone who needs more immediate help please just contact me

Hugo Mahana: Good evening

Claudia13 Rossini: hello Hugo

Hugo Mahana: Can I have a drink please?

Grizzla: Did you get out of breath dancing, Hugo?

Olivia Hotshot: ok folks, you KNOW I love your company, but it is now time to depart for other worlds, known and unknown.... any last minute thoughts?

Hugo Mahana: ut what?

Zotarah Shepherd: Thanks for the great discussion Olivia and all.

Hugo Mahana: Have I missed it?

Professor Silverweb: Looking forward to the class you are planning!

VWER 0602_018_w535

Olivia Hotshot: welcome Zo.. Thanks for coming everyone...... i always feel energized when i am done with one of these meetings

D'lightful: Thanks for all the links

Zotarah Shepherd: Just ended. There will be a log though Hugo

Lolly Dovgal: I'll post some photos to flickr

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: pass around the cake!

D'lightful: need coffee too

JeanClaude Vollmar: mmm, cake. LOL

Grizzla: Where is the wine?

Zotarah Shepherd: Ah time to have lunch.

Olivia Hotshot: Grizz, it is in California... come on out

Hugo Mahana: Goodness me

Zotarah Shepherd: I am in CA too

Zotarah Shepherd: Toss a piece of cake for dessert. : )

Claudia13 Rossini: cyber...staying in SL is great too, it's using whichever VW works best for you now

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: see you all next week for Maria Korolov!

Karelia Kondor: I like the idea of having a 'back up' though

Zotarah Shepherd: Oh that will be an interesting meeting Iggy

Claudia13 Rossini: exactly Karelia

Karelia Kondor: It was a bit of a shock to have those prices doubled

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: yes, Zo, Maria is not a person to mince her words

Karelia Kondor: and I don’t want to be locked in to SL

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: Drove us out of SL, Karelia

Claudia13 Rossini: and you can back up, without changing grids.

Karelia Kondor: That was all a bit quick for me ..

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: I think Rod Humble regrets that decision, but it came before his time

Karelia Kondor: but I hope it;s OK to keep in touch and catch up!

Ignatius Onomatopoeia: but that is another meeting! Off to dinner!
